Back Patio FAQ
Are decorations allowed on the patio?
The patio is just lovely on its own, but you are welcome to decorate for your special event!
Confetti and glitter, or any other items that will leave a trace, are prohibited. Any decorations that require additional time to remove or clean will be subject to a $50 minimum cleaning fee.
How much time to I get when I rent the patio?
Each patio reservation is three hours. We are happy to have the space available for an additional 30 minutes before your event for decoration, upon request.
Are there heaters on the patio?
Yes, there are overhead heaters on both the covered and garden portions of the patio.
For your safety, we ask that all heater adjustments be made by Nopalito staff; simply ask your server to adjust the heat of the heaters.
Do I need a deposit to secure the space?
Yes, we request a deposit in the amount of $300 for the garden patio reservations and a deposit in the amount of $500 for whole patio reservations.
What is the cancellation policy?
If a cancellation is made within (7) days of the event date, the client will forfeit his/her deposit
How many people does the garden portion of the patio accommodate?
The garden patio can accommodate up to 30 seated guests.
How many people can the entire patio (covered and garden portions) accommodate?
The whole patio can accommodate up to 40 people for a seated meal or up to 55 people for a standing taco bar.
What happens if it rains?
If the weather prohibits the execution of your event, we will offer free delivery (including compostable plates, napkins & utensils) to an alternate location.
Alternately, you may choose to rent a tent to cover the garden patio (tent rental fees begin at $1000; tent reservations must be made seven days in advance).
May I bring my own desserts or wine?
Yes! We request a $2.50 per guest cakeage fee. Corkage is $10 per standard 750 mL bottle
What beverage options do you offer?
We have various family-style beverage options for you and your guests. Please see our sample menus for pricing details.
How late can we stay on the patio?
Out of respect for our neighbors, there is an 11:00pm curfew for all patio parties.
Is the patio appropriate for kids?
Yes! We have hosted many birthday parties and showers with children. Your young guests will appreciate the extra room to run around.
